By default you are required to provide your personal address for the EIN application. However, if you prefer keeping your personal address hidden you have the option to apply for a virtual mailing address. This address can then be used for your EIN application.
To add a virtual mailing address you can select one of the available addresses from the dropdown menu. If you don't have this subscription yet you will be asked to complete the payment before you can use the address.

How long it takes
The EIN application can be a lengthy process without an SSN. The turn around time is generally 3-4 weeks provided that the IRS is not backed up. When the IRS is backed up it can take up to 6 weeks to get your EIN number.
